Party First, Law Second

Attorney General Holder shows where his priorities are. Not with the rule of law as upholding the law matters little to this Democrat. No for AG Holder what matters first is the Democratic party. Case in point is voting rights for Washington D.C.

The Department of Justice’s Office of Legal Counsel, lead by people appointed by President Obama, stated the D.C voting rights bill pendingin Congress is unconstitutional. This bill would grant citizens of  D.C. representation in the House. As to why this would be unconstitutional see Article 1 Section 2 of the Constitution.  Since AG Holder has sworn to uphold the Constitution one would think that is the end of the road. But remember in the Obama Administration getting more Democrats into Congress is a higher priority then upholding the Constitution.
