Revis wants to be the highest paid cornerback in the NFL. Nothing wrong with that but what is wrong is failing to honor your contract. Revis is under contract with the Jets and wants a new one. Players do this often and I think it is wrong in all cases to not honor your contract. You can ask for it to be re-done but if the club says no then honor the contract and move on after it expires.

Even int he later rounds they got some good picks. Golden Tate gives them some help in the receiving corps, and more defensive picks in later rounds. Add in some trades for running backs and the only area they really didn’t address was a quarterback of the future. If Matt Hasselbeck stays healthy, which Okung should help in making sure he does, then this may not have needed addressing in the draft.

Fact checking is too much to ask for I guess asking factcheck.org to do a little checking is asking too much.

What in the end makes this funnier is some of the people allowed to represent the NFL or comment upon the NFL. Keith Olberman is one of the biggest racist out there but is the NFL worries about the imagine he brings to the NFL? Convicted felon Michael Vick? No worries again? Any of the players busted for doing drugs, dealing drugs, shooting people, etc? No again, not an issue for the NFL. Only issue is being a conservative.

For Mir to win he has to get Lesnar emotional. Some may think that getting someone built like Lesnar emotional is suicidal, but if Lesnar gives into emotions then his head is outt of the game. If this happens Mir has a good chance of submitting Lesnar.

For Lesnar to win he needs to keep it a stand up fight. I’ve heard how improve Lesnar’s Jiu-Jitsu skills are, but it doesn’t matter. If Lesnar wants to fight a Jiu-Jitsu ground game then he is fighting the fight  Mir wants to fight. Make your opponent fight your game, don’t fight his game.

Who do I think will win? Tough call, I think Mir will squeeze a win out. I also cheering for Mir.

If one stops and thinks about the important issues out there that Congress should be focusing upon, I doubt determining a college football national champion is going to make the top ten list. It wouldn’t even make it on my list at all as I don’t see where Congress has the power to muddle in this area. I think we need a Constitutional Amendment that states that at the start of each day that Congress is in session, each attending member of Congress has to stand up and recite Article 1, Section 8 of the Constitution. And I mean one by one. Lets hear that recited 100 teams each day when the Senate is seated, 435 in the house.

I thought of adding tight end in there but I think they will be set there. The above is in the order I think the Seahawks should draft.

Matt Hasselbeck is going to really start to show his age. He’ll probably make it through this season, maybe next, but the Seahawks better have a plan. They should draft Mark Sanchez from USC to be Hasselbeck’s replacement. He has a good arm, and even ore important seems to show good “smarts” on the field. Get him now and give him a chance to learn the offense before tossing him into the ring.

For the other two positions the Seahawks should go with the best available at that time. I would love to see them get a great tackle but with a second pick it will most likely be a good tackle, unless they their second pick and something else to move up.
