Jerry Jones, the owner of the Dallas Cowboys, can make some really stupid comments at times. Really dumb. His latest regarding the video screens at the new Cowboys stadium is one that shows his ignorance:
“You can anticipate the ball hitting the board from time to time,” he said. “There’s no reason why this can’t be something (for punters) to deal with very similar to the way you’d deal with the wind in your face or with elements; rain, sleet or snow.”
Um Jerry, those are natural occurring things. A team can’t stop the wind, rain, snow. If a team comes up with a way to do this then they have a great future at renting out these skills. But a video screen hanging too low in a stadium? Sorry, that is something under a team’s control.
